Welcome to AimYear. By using our app, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using AimYear, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the app.

2. Description of Service

AimYear is a goal tracking application that helps users set, track, and achieve their yearly aims across five life areas: Health, Finance, Relations, Work, and Happiness.

3. User Accounts

• The app automatically creates an anonymous session using Firebase Authentication. No personal information (name, email) is required for basic use, including the AI goal-setting assistant.
• Premium features (cloud sync, data export) require account creation with email or social sign-in.
• You are responsible for maintaining account security
• You must provide accurate information when creating an account

4. Subscriptions and Payments

AimYear offers premium subscriptions:

• Monthly: $2.99/month
• Yearly: $19.99/year

Subscriptions are processed through Apple App Store or Google Play Store. They automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.

5. Refunds

Refund requests are handled by Apple or Google according to their respective policies. We cannot process refunds directly.

6. User Content

You retain ownership of all content you create in the app (aims, marks, notes). By using cloud sync, you grant us permission to store and process this data to provide the service.

7. AI-Generated Content

AimYear includes an AI-powered goal-setting assistant available to all users. Please note:

• The AI assistant helps you formulate and refine your yearly goals — it is not a substitute for professional advice
• AI suggestions are for informational and motivational purposes only
• They do not constitute professional advice (medical, financial, legal, psychological, etc.)
• You should consult qualified professionals for important life decisions
• We are not responsible for actions taken based on AI suggestions
• The AI assistant is designed solely for goal-setting conversations. Attempts to use it for unrelated purposes may be blocked.
• Free users have daily usage limits. Premium users receive higher limits and enhanced AI model quality.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the app for illegal purposes
• Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or compromise the app
• Create fake accounts or impersonate others
• Use automated systems to access the service

9. Intellectual Property

AimYear, including its design, features, and content, is owned by Valentina Koniukhova. You may not copy, modify, or distribute the app without permission.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the app will be error-free or uninterrupted.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

13. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the app for violations of these Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction, without regard to conflict of law principles.
