Delete Your Data

AimYear by Valentina Koniukhova respects your right to control your personal data. This page explains how to request deletion of your data and what happens when you do.

Option 1: Delete Data from the App

  1. Open the AimYear app on your device.
  2. Go to Settings.
  3. Tap Delete My Data.
  4. Confirm the deletion when prompted.

This will immediately delete all your local data. If you are a Premium user with cloud sync enabled, your cloud data will also be deleted.

Option 2: Request Deletion by Email

If you are unable to delete your data from the app, you can request deletion by emailing us at:

privacy@aimyear.com

Please include the email address associated with your AimYear account. We will process your request within 30 days.

What Data Is Deleted

Data type Action
Aims and goals Permanently deleted
Daily marks and notes Permanently deleted
Account information (email) Permanently deleted
Cloud sync data (Premium) Permanently deleted
Subscription history Retained by Google Play / RevenueCat for financial record-keeping (up to 7 years as required by law)
Anonymized analytics Retained in aggregate form (cannot be linked back to you)
Crash logs Retained for up to 90 days, then automatically deleted

Important Notes

  • Data deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot recover your data after deletion.
  • If you only use the free version (no account), all your data is stored locally on your device. Uninstalling the app will delete all data.
  • Deleting your data does not cancel an active subscription. To cancel your subscription, use the Google Play Store.
